80105's Journey North
On a wet day in October 1973 80105 is journeying north at Shap on the old A6
(Note the American look of the tractor unit doing all the hard work)
80105 crosses the Scottish Border

Parked up at Cairn Lodge for the haulage drivers rest break
The journey north continues
The rain is obviously back on as 80105 continues its journey north past Lesmahagow
80105 arrives at Larbert Yard. Note the policeman supervising the procedure
80105 is safely inside Larbert Yard. Looking at the trailer it's apparent that even
back in the 1970's trailers were fitted with wheels that could turn to enhance maneuverability's.
The engine, having arrived safely at Larbert Yard, is manoevered into
position for re-railng,
At htis point, if engines could breatih a sigh of relief, this would be the time!
